PRACTICALITIES

CLIMATE

During the winter season (December to February) the temperature ranges from 17° to 22° during the day. The nights are cold. The climate is pleasant but it is advisable to carry some warm clothes for high altitudes. During the summer the Atlas basks under a clear sky and, despite the altitude, there are no glaciers or permanent snow. During the day the temperature ranges from 28° to 32° while at night it drops to between 6° and 11°.

MONEY

Exchange rates for the Dirham are approximately: £1=16 dh, €1=11 dh. Currency import and export is forbidden. All foreign currencies and travellers cheques are accepted. Credit cards: Visa, American Express, Diners, Eurocard.
